This Easy Halloween Wreath or Grave Marker looks great and inexpensive too.
It stores wonderfully from year to year and looks fabulous when you pull it out.
Hang with ribbon or tulle for your door, or insert a dowel to use as a holiday decorative grave marker.

I’ll show you how to make this Easy Halloween Wreath or Grave Marker quickly in my tutorial.

Easy Halloween Wreath or Grave Marker

Supplies:

use any colors you desire, these are just suggestions:)

approx 2 spools of orange tulle (25 yards each spool)

approx 1 spool of black tulle (25-yard spool)

12″ straw wreath

or 12″ foam wreath

Optional: Ribbon or additional tulle for hanging on door or wall such as THIS

Decoration to hang in the center of the wreath such as THIS if desired

Spiders to attach to the wreath if desired.  Something like THIS would probably be enough and not need a center decoration

Directions:

Cut orange tulle into approximately 40″ lengths.

You will need 50-60 pieces depending on the desired amount.

TIP:  Cut lengths as needed to use any leftover for another project and not have to worry about the tulle already cut into length.

Take one length of tulle and fold it in half, holding each end with a hand.

Take the folded tulle underneath the wreath.

Now, bring the loose ends up through the folded end

Do this uniformly all around the wreath, moving them to spread out evenly as needed. Use as many as you choose for desired fullness.

Cut the black tulle into 40″ lengths a few at a time, so you are able to use any leftover easier for another project.

Randomly tie on black tulle to the look you want for your wreath.

Tie a bow with your contrasting tulle or ribbon in a cute bow as shown here.

Or simply around the wreath in a length long enough to hang at the desired place on your door or wall.

If you want to decorate a loved one’s grave for the holiday, you will simply insert a dowel into the wreath, working around the tulle. Use a dowel that will be long enough to keep the wreath off of the ground, or out of the snow and also thick enough to push into the ground.
