These Easy Chocolate Covered Nut Clusters are NO-FAIL candy that you can make and are always a hit.
Use any type of nut, but I use peanuts since everyone seems to like those and they are best priced.
You can use milk, dark or white chocolate.
A great treat, dessert or gift anytime of the year, but for a holiday gift they are perfect!
And don’t limit yourself to nuts, try rice krispies too!
Easy Chocolate Covered No-Fail Candy Nut Clusters
12 oz. Candy Melts (Wilton) OR chocolate chips OR bark – dark, milk or white chocolate
12-14 oz. nuts of your choice
Sprinkles if desired
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
Heat chocolate in a microwaveable safe bowl at 20 second intervals
Stirring well to prevent burning.
Continue this process until the chocolate is completely smooth and it is the temperature of a baby bath.
This is important so that when you add the nuts, it will not cool down too quickly before you are able to make the clusters.
Add in the desired amount of nuts, but be sure to allow enough chocolate to cover the nuts completely.
Form clusters by filling a teaspoon and push off with the back of another teaspoon.
No Fail Easy Chocolate Covered Nut Clusters
If the chocolate happens to begin to harden up by cooling quicker than the clusters are formed, simply put the bowl in the microwave and heat for a few seconds, stir, repeat until warm as a baby bath.
Continue forming clusters. Allow the candy set up and store in a covered container.
