This Easy Skinny No Bake Key Lime Dessert is so full of flavor you’d never guess it’s low in fat, calories and even considered a healthy dessert.

This elegant guilt-free Key Lime dessert, will completely satisfy your craving for something wonderful, with its slightly tangy key lime flavor, countered with the right balance of sweet. 

The creamy silky smooth chiffon Key Lime filling sits on top of a bed of crunchy graham cracker crumbs, to give a perfect texture combination for your eating enjoyment.

Easy Skinny No Bake Key Lime Dessert


1/2 cups fat free sweetened condensed milk

2 large uncooked egg yolks

2 tsp. butter, divided

1/3 cup bottled key lime juice (this is different from regular bottled lime juice and much less expensive from fresh key limes in most areas)

1/2 cup key lime flavored low-fat Greek yogurt

1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

1 pinch salt

1/2 cup aerosol spray whipped cream

1 Tbl. lime zested, optional for presentation


In a small, heavy bottomed sauce pan, combine milk and egg yolks; heat over medium-low heat,Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 1

Whisking continuously, until mixture begins to boil, about 5 minutes.Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 2Stir in 1 teaspoon butter and lime juice; pour into a shallow bowl and chill in refrigerator until cool, about 30 minutes.Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 3

Pour into a bowl or cup and chill in refrigerator until cool, about 30 minutes.Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 4

Meanwhile, melt remaining teaspoon butter in microwave in a cup or small bowl. Add graham cracker crumbs and salt to butter; gently mix.Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 5Fold yogurt into cooled lime mixture until just combined; Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 6

Set aside.

Low Fat Key Lime Dessert 7Line up eight 2-oz  glasses.

In each glass, layer 1 tablespoon crumb mixture (pressing down to form a “crust” with the handle of a spatula or other utensil) 

Add in 2 heaping tablespoons key lime pie filling

Top with 1 tablespoon whipped topping and garnish with lime zest if desired.

Yields 1 glass per serving.

A pretty tall stemmed glass dish. Inside is a creamy slightly tangy and tart lime dessert that is skinny and low fat, but the taste if full and packet with flavor. The bottom is graham cracker crumb for a perfect combination.

    Mmmm. I LOVE key lime pie. This looks yummy and easy and I just happen to have some key lime juice in the fridge from the last time I made a pie. I’ll have to give this a try. One of my friends go married to a guy from FL and for their reception they had wedding cake and tons of key lime pies the grooms family made the day before the wedding! So much fun.
