  • Wow, I wish my mom had thought of stuff like that when I was growing up. I was definitely the type to just leave stuff in the car or hand it over to a friend – I hated purses. If I ever have a daughter, this will be a project I definitely implement. Thanks!

  • Great idea! I have 2 older boys and I never worried about them like I worry about my daughter. She is only in 3rd grade, but already I notice me doing things differently with her in regards to personal safety. I think holding on to your own “stuff” is very important. I once got left in the big city because a date drank to much and took off. I swore I would always have my own money and keys to get home after that. My daughter will have one of these pockets. Thanks so much for this simple solution that will provide me with great peace of mind. I appreciate you sharing this with all of our Let’s Get Real readers.

  • What a great Idea! It will be so nice for her to have the things she needs without having to worry about them. Thanks for posting on the Four Seasons Blog Hop! Hope to see you next week!

This is very clever! My daughter is in 10th grade and has been going to dances for a couple of years. I like this idea soooo much! We need to teach our daughters to be self reliant, and functional! Great idea! Thanks

  • What a clever idea. I used to have a small pocket attached to my bra strap to hold a key a dime and a five dollar bill 🙂 Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop. ♥

  • This sure would have came in handy for me back in the day. Thanks for sharing at the create it or bake it, come back tomorrow and link up!
